About The Owner

Meet Reuben Rudenko: Your Local Expert at AAMCO of Sugar Hill

For Reuben Rudenko, the owner of AAMCO Transmissions and Total Car Care in Sugar Hill, the automotive world has always felt like home. Growing up in Gwinnett County, Reuben’s earliest memories are rooted in the driveway, watching his father work on the family vehicles. Those Saturdays spent helping his dad maintain and repair cars didn’t just teach him how engines work; they sparked a lifelong passion for the industry and a natural inclination toward helping people stay mobile.

A Foundation of Expertise and Local Roots

Reuben is a true local, having grown up right here in Gwinnett County. His journey into professional auto repair began with a deep-seated respect for the craft, eventually leading him to graduate from AAMCO University. While his earlier career started in the landscape industry, his calling to the automotive world remained strong. Today, with five years of dedicated experience in the repair industry, Reuben has realized his dream of owning a shop where technical skill meets community service.

Transparency You Can Trust

Reuben understands that for many drivers in Sugar Hill, auto repair can feel overwhelming or confusing. That is why he has built his business on a foundation of complete transparency. Reuben and his team make it a priority to educate every customer, explaining the "why" behind every service recommendation. By providing clear information and honest guidance, Reuben ensures that every neighbor who walks through his doors feels confident and empowered regarding their vehicle’s care.

Dedicated to the Community

When he isn't at the shop, Reuben is a family man who enjoys the natural beauty of Georgia, often taking long walks with his wife and their baby. His commitment to family extends to the local community as well. Under Reuben’s leadership, AAMCO of Sugar Hill proudly sponsors local law enforcement and supports international charitable efforts, including donations to orphans in war-torn countries.

His first car, a pearl white 2006 Infiniti G35, taught him the value of meticulous maintenance—a lesson he carries into every job his shop performs today. For Reuben, the best part of the job isn't just fixing transmissions; it’s the peace of mind that comes from keeping his neighbors safely on the road.
